Jaqui has been in the H R field since the early 80’s. She is a passionate, honest and extremely direct person. She knows and deals with each and every one of Fair Labour’s clients personally.
In 2001 after working with Control Instruments Group as HR Manager since 1981 she decided it was time to start her own company to share her knowledge with more companies and individuals.
In 2008 Jaqui graduated Cum Laude from University of Pretoria/Arbitration Foundation of South Africa with a Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution(Labour). She is a member of the South African Association of Labour Lawyers and attends their seminars and conferences regularly to ensure she is kept abreast of developments in the field.
She has held the post of Principal Officer on various Pension and Provident Funds, as well as acted as Former Member Representative for the purpose of surplus legislation requirements and distribution. She is also an Independent Trustee on several funds and sits on management committees for employers participating in Umbrella Funds.
Madelene Seymore
Madelene Seymore is a graduate in Business at the University of Johannesburg, did articles and worked her way through the financial departments of her employers. She formed an integral part of a team of entrepreneurs who grew a small business into a company listed on the JSE. Her keen interest in learning and a passion for people, took her to the HR realm where she utilised her extensive knowledge of process, efficiency and business acumen and applied it to the field, ensuring value-add to the business, placing her in a unique position.
Her family relocated to Nelspruit in 2011, and she opened the fair labour practice – Lowveld. Their client base includes a variety of businesses and industries, varying in size and complexity. The services on offer include HR, but has been expanded to include business plans, Employment Equity, BBBEE, process flow, business implementation and management, with relationships varying from ad hoc services to taking on the HR role in certain clients.
